How We Got Here

“How I got Here!

God called me to Reg4l Ministries in 2014 following a severe change of direction in my life. After my mother’s death in 2013, I decided to conclude my career in urban entertainment as a traveling deejay. God was very adamant in regards to being a servant for him, so. soon after, I began to consolidate my business affairs so that time was freed to obey Him and honor the instructions that were soon to come. Thereafter He called to begin a weekly Bible study in one of our cellphone stores. With only 3 people initially, it began to grow and more and more people from different walks of life started to take interest. Though there were some lonely days where attendance was little to none, four years later in 2019, God has delivered the ministry into a small church family that offers weekly services and additional programs that assist our friends who have a desire to establish a better relationship with God.
At Reg4l Ministries, I am positioned as one of the founding leaders and directors of operations. I am privileged to be part of the process of people finding their way to God for the first time or in their reconciliation with the Lord after some time apart.

At Reg4l I am blessed to be able to share with them the same love that God shared with me, and expose to them the beautiful truth found in scripture. No matter if it’s a dark time in someone’s life or if God is just showing them a newer or improved direction, I am honored to serve those He sends because it is a blessing to obey and serve my Lord. I pray the Lord continues to keep us and guide us so that in all we do with Reg4ll Ministries and Restoration Fellowship, it is all done in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

“How I got here to Reg4L.

First and foremost, all glory and praises to The Most High. Without Him, I would not be here. My name is Michelle, which means, “Who is like God”. When I was young, my dad planted a seed in me that through the power of the Lord, grew to where I am today. In a time of darkness and despair, The Most High made his presence known. He definitely got my attention and still reveals himself to me everyday as I take my journey on the road to righteousness. God showed me how “out of order” I was living, starting with my heart. See, when a person puts something or someone else before The Most High God, things just don’t seem to add up correctly in their life. This was happening to me….Depression, sadness, hurt, pain, heartbreak, heartache, emptiness, false love, idolatry, adultery, sickness, stress, anger, jealousy, anxiety.you name it! It was all brokenness, darkness and stagnation. I was spiritually dying. Since then, through a little faith and belief + Biblical and spiritual council + study and the support of the team at Reg4L Ministries = Growth and I have been redeemed! Christ saved my life. I am forever grateful and thankful. All glory and honor and praises to The Most High!! My life is beginning to add up correctly. I’m moving differently, seeing and hearing more clearly now. Growing upright and not weltering away any longer. I am whole again. I’m blossoming into the name that was given to me at birth. My name holds a strong purpose and God has shown me and given me a purpose to live and bare good fruit from what was planted many years ago. These fruits are fruits of The Spirit, Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, Goodness, Faithfulness, and Self-control. The Lord is working in me so my fruits are plentiful and so I can produce good seeds to sow in His name according to His word. Everyone’s journey is different. Not everyone moves at the same pace, but through Christ, we can all live out the life that The Most High God promised and intended on us to live and that’s our best life ever while on this earth, sharing in His glory with others. So again my name is Michelle, “who is like God” and to me God is Love… One of my favorite scriptures is 1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now these three things remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love” Again I tell you, God is love, and in my new life that I’m living right now, God shall remain, in Jesus name! I love ya.”

“How I got here!

When God sees it’s time for you to grow he has a way of making you so uncomfortable at your current stage of your life that it forces you to change. That change took place in my life in 2018. 2018 was such a trying year for me in all aspects of my life. I came to the realization that the plans I saw fit for my life were not in the cards for me. One would believe I would have been on top of the world graduating with my RN degree marked a goal I worked so hard to attain. However the elated feeling never came. I struggled to keep a smile on my face; breaking down on the inside caused me to experience the complete opposite feeling of elation. As the strong woman I love to believe I am, my outside appearance seemed so well put together while on the inside I was falling apart. One night I decided to join my mother and attend Reg4L’s prayer and bible fellowship meeting. On that night we went around the circle and answered the question of what brought us to the meeting that night? My answer, “I’m at a stage in my life where so many changes are taking place. Mostly good to which I should be elated but instead I’m very unhappy, almost on the verge of depression. I know that a change is needed in my life and I feel this is God’s way of telling me it’s time to do things differently”. That night there was feeling of relief I experience after the tears rolled down my cheek in that Wednesday night meeting. I was comforted by scripture and kind words from people who attended the meeting, most who are now considered family. That night ignited a fire in me to pursue a greater relationship with God. To educate myself by indulging in scripture more and learning to properly apply it to my life. I learned to pray for my steps to be guided, my mind to be cleared and my heart to be pure. To Love people with God’s love no matter the circumstance. Simply put joining Reg4L Ministries has changed my life and restored in me a joyous spirit. I love being a part of fellowship and growth with people who are on the same quest to improve their relationship with God and feed their love for the word. In the future I would love for Reg4L Ministries to become a safe haven for those in need. One of the greatest things about Reg4L Ministries is that all are welcome and we have a loving environment where everyone is made to feel like family. In addition I look forward to God allowing us to continue to grow and outreach into the community to help those who need. I pray that God allows us to be prepared to help others enrich their lives by building on their relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I find the greatest joy in being a part of something that’s bigger than me. Ultimately I personally just want to make a difference wherever God guides my footsteps to do so.”
